Master in design of luxury items The University of Bologna in Buenos Aires launched an academic program that will acquire specific knowledge about the new business model used by Italian firms in the fields of fashion, design and luxury goods.
According to the authorities of that institution, the Master in Management of Small and Medium Business of Fashion, Design and Luxury Goods "will allow first-hand access to the experiences of these firms, which in recent years have developed a reputation and credibility worldwide related to its renewed capacity for manufacturing, innovation and creativity. "
"The master will be able to perform professional profile management activities, preferably in areas of marketing, commercial, production and strategic planning "report.
The program consists of general courses and specific courses of four orientations, of which each candidate must choose one. Each guide includes the development of three business projects that will have direct contact with the problems facing companies in the respective sectors.

Among the companies that have committed to participate include:
Ferrari, Gucci, Alessi, Lamborghini , Mandarina Duck, Datalogic Furla, Max Mara Fashion Group, Sigar Toscano, Ferretti Group, Ducati Motor Holding, Technogym, Riva Yacht iGuzzini, Vicini Shoes, Rintal, Illy, Cirio, Poltrona Frau, Vidivici, La Perla, Caleffi, Valsoia, Promoter, Sergio Rossi - Gruppo Gucci, LVMH Gruppo Omas.
In Argentina the program articulates with business associations and institutions linked to the fields of fashion, design and high-end products.
For this first edition, Universita di Bologna in conjunction with the Italian government grants have been allocated funding of EUR 3,500 for the best candidates.
Master
duration is one year divided into three cycles:
- Argentina: mid-February - late March 2011
- Italy: April - June 2011 for
- Internships in Italy or Argentina: August / September to October / November 2011.
Registration closes on December 7, 2010.
The total cost of 10,800 euros is master. Being the first edition of the program in Argentina, all applicants will receive a scholarship of 3,800 euros. The trip and stay in Italy will be the responsibility of each candidate.
